Personal Response I chose the short legend uppercase of Minnesotas case which is written by Willa Cather. In her short story, she tells the story of a young boy named pileus of Minnesota. Paul was a eerie boy. He struggled to separate himself from his common, nonchalant life and the people he shared it with. Paul prise the opulence of the theater, the gallery, and the riches. When he effected it wasnt possible to ingest these things, he threw his life away. In Pauls mind, there was a conflict between pursue a personal commit and choosing to conform. He was not rich, solely he dreamed of a rich life. in that location were some clues that giveing Pauls desire. For instance, He always wore an opal decline in his neatly knotted color four-in-hand and a red carnation in his buttonhole. He lamed at Carnegie student residence as usher.
